StoneRidge Kennels will make every effort to provide our clients with a traditional Pitbull Puppy; a healthy, energetic, outgoing, happy, playfull, brave, powerful, gentle & well balanced puppy, raised in our home in a family, friendly environment.
Pick order: Pick order is by first contract/first deposit received and then in descending order. Additionally, a Buyer may roll their deposit on this litter to the next litter. Only one roll of deposit allowed. Price may vary with each litter.
CLARIFICATIONS BETWEEN BUYER & SELLER listed below;
Health Guarantee:
Our 1 Year Guarantees (age of pup up to 1 Year of age) The pup is guaranteed to be healthy upon release to the Buyer to the best of our knowledge. This puppy has been vet checked & has been found to be free of genetic defects & is in good health. Puppy will be current on all shots & dewormed at time of this sale. Buyer agrees to have their liscenced vet check the health of the puppy within 48 hours of sale to verify the pup's state of health. If it is determined the puppy has a life threatening illness, the cause of which is directly attributable to the breeder, buyer will return the puppy at their own expense and will receive another puppy of the same purchase price. Breeder will not be responsible for any veterinary fees. A full written diagnosis from the buyer's veterinarian must be supplied to the breeder. The breeder reserves the right to have a second diagnosis from a veterinarian of breeder's choice. Buyer understands that the Guarantees do not transfer to any other party.
The Buyer will send recent pictures and a note/E-mail stating news on the dog EVERY YEAR.
Replacement:
If the pup should have any MAJOR defects which is hereditary in nature and not the approximate cause of an injury or illness by the pup’s first birthday, Seller agrees to at Seller's option either to:
1. Replace the pup with an equal or better quality pup from the first available litter.
2. Or receive one-third the purchase price back PROVIDED Buyer provides Seller with a letter from a certified veterinarian or ophthalmologist setting forth in detail the defective fault. Buyer agrees to neuter or spay the pup at Buyer’s expense if Buyer retains the pup and provides Seller with a verification of same, or at Buyer’s expense send pup back to Seller.
A replacement pup is shipped at Buyer’s expense under the terms of the ‘Other Costs’ disclosure.
Deposit:
Deposits are non-refundable but transferable. If Buyer feels their choice of color or sex was not produced, Buyer may roll deposit to the next available litter of Seller. Buyer may roll deposit one time and then deposit is forfeited and this contract is void, unless other arrangements have been made. Buyer understands others are contracted out of future litters and Buyer will be placed in pick order following those who have already have contracts. If Seller is no longer breeding, Buyer will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Other costs:
* Ear cropping by a profesional veternarian as early as 9 weeks of age: $300.00 *Avid microchipping with no yearly cost: $35.00 *Dew claws removal by a profesional veternarian: Included in price of puppies * Tatoo UKC #: Included in price of puppies (unless not wanted)
*Any flight expenses if this pup is shipped. A crate furnished by Seller shall be reimbursed by Buyer at an agreed upon cost prior to shipping. Costs are paid up front prior to shipping or the pup will be held until funds are received. Buyer agrees that if funds are not received by the time the pup turns 8 weeks of age, buyer forfeits all rights to the pup, the pup will be sold and all retained by Seller unless other arrangements are made.
If Buyer is paying Seller to get ear cropped we will board until puppy is 12-15 weeks old if needed with no boarding fees.
Puppy Registration:
All pup’s names must begin with the name "StoneRidge" in UKC &/or Other registrations. No other kennel name may be used in naming of this pup unless written permission is given by Seller. Breech of this will nullify all 1 Year guarantee and possibly result in a lawsuit. Buyer will notify Seller of the pup’s selected registered name prior to Seller forwarding the registration papers. Registration papers will be filled out with the dog’s name. Buyer will receive either UKC &/or other registration papers for their puppy. Buyer understands that the registration papers may not be available at the time they pick up or receive their puppy due to there often being a delay with mailing from UKC &/or other registrations.
Co-Own consideration:
Stoneridge kennels may consider a co own contract with a breeder whom is close by. Co-Ownership contract will be a seperate contract other than the puppy contract. A Co-Own contract will vary with each buyer, based on the situation. If Co-Ownership is something you are interested in, ask Stoneridge Kennels for a copy of their Co-Ownership Contract.
Picking pup:

Buyer shall make Buyer’s pick no later than 3 weeks of age. Pups may be picked up as early as 8 weeks of age and no later than 10 weeks of age unless special arrangements have been made. Pups that stay later than 10 weeks will be charged a $25.00 a week boarding fee. Pups shipped will not be shipped until 8 weeks of age. Seller states all pups will have had a booster, bordetella, will have been timely wormed and will come with a puppy packet.
If Buyer is paying Seller to get ears cropped we will board puppy in till puppy is 12-15 weeks old if needed with no boarding fees.
Puppy's Health:
This Pit Bull is currently on NuVet Plus vitamins and has been since the day of conception since the Dam is currently taking them. StoneRidge highly recommends the use of NuVet Plus vitamins as a daily supplement to prevent many common illnesses and conditions. The seller has informed the buyer to purchase the first month of vitamins before the puppy arrives home to ensure that they are received in time of the puppy’s arrival. StoneRidge is an authorized representative for NuVet Labs and our Order Code is 545241C NuVet can be contacted at their toll free number 1-800-474-7044 or at http://www.nuvet.com You must present this order code at the time of purchase. Complete details of the ingredients and effectiveness are on StoneRidge’s website as well as NuVet’s site. Using throughout this Pit Bull’s life is highly recommended.
We the Breeder (StoneRidge Kennels), feel that you the Buyer should be aware that the blue coat coloring in most breeds is associated with skin problems. Blue coated dogs of all breeds are more prone to bacterial, viral, strep and fungal infections as well as various forms of dematitis, allergies, demodex and color mutant alopecia. While some of these conditions are hereditary many of them are simply the result of the blue coat coloring. Therefore, we do not guarantee against any skin or coat problems that are common for the dogs with the blue coat coloring. Most of these problems are easily treatable by a veterinarian and we believe can also be helped with a healthy diet and supplements to strengthen the dog's immune system. Not all blue coated dogs will be affected, but you must be prepared to treat your dog if necessary. We will not replace a dog or provide a refund on a dog purchased from us that has skin or coat problems as described above. Give your puppy/dog daily exercise, a well balanced diet, positive discipline, lots of affection and plenty of socialization and you will develop a well balanced pet and best friend.
First right of refusal:
Buyer agrees that no pup may be resold or given away. Any dog purchased from Stoneridge kennels shall not go to a shelter by Buyer without first giving the Seller written first right of refusal. Seller agrees to answer any offer of purchase within two weeks with a written response indicating Seller’s decision to repurchase or not repurchase the pup. If Seller does not desire to purchase the pup back, Buyer may sell the pup, but may not send it to a shelter. Failure to offer Seller first right of refusal and/or approval of the new buyer will void all 1Year guarantee to Buyer, will be in breech of contract and legal action may be taken. Buyer understands that the 1year Guarantees do not transfer to any other party. Should Seller exercise the right of first refusal, Buyer will at Buyer’s expense get a vet well check on the pup. Airline expense will be payed by buyer and UKC &/or other registration papers signed over to seller and sent to Seller together, mail one week prior to shipping the pup. Seller will remit applicable funds to Buyer upon receipt of the registration papers and applicable documents.
Legal action:
Buyer agrees that said puppy will not be used for any inhumane, immoral or illegal purposes. If either Buyer or Seller take any legal action to enforce any part of this Contract, action shall be initiated in State of Seller’s residence and any legal fees and court costs shall be the responsibility of the party found to be in default.
